Livagen is a lab-made synthetic tetrapeptide bioregulator (Lys-Glu-Asp-Ala) developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson as part of the Cytogen family. It is a short-chain peptide designed to interact directly with DNA and chromatin, primarily studied for its ability to restore youthful gene expression patterns in aging cells, with a focus on immune system lymphocytes, liver, and gastrointestinal tissues.
Livagen has an excellent safety profile, consistent with other Khavinson bioregulators.
In studies: No serious adverse events reported.
Mild/rare effects:
• Occasional injection-site redness or mild warmth.
• Very rare transient fatigue on initial days.
Bigger caveats:
• Unknown ultra-long-term effects in large Western populations (most data from Russian trials).
• Real-world danger: unregulated products may vary in purity.
Bottom line: One of the gentlest bioregulators — side effects are almost nonexistent when used as directed.
Method of Administration: Subcutaneous into fatty tissue. See Reconstitution Guide.
Reconstitution: 2ml Bac water into single vial.
Dose: 2mg daily, therefore 20 units or 0.2ml. Use peptide calculator (link) for alternative dosage.
Course: 20 days.
Cycling: Repeat every 3 months for maintenance or as needed.
Tip: Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water; store in fridge. Use insulin syringes and sterile technique.
Livagen has been studied mainly in Russian labs focusing on chromatin, lymphocytes, and aging.
