Glutathione is a lab-made or naturally supplemented tripeptide – a tiny chain of just 3 amino acids (glutamate-cysteine-glycine) that your liver produces as the body’s master antioxidant and detoxifier. Levels naturally decline with age, stress, poor diet, toxins, illness, or medications. It is the only peptide known to assist in removing heavy metals from the body.
